Luminous Pink (57)
YSL Luminous Pink (57) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick is a vivid, coral-red with warm undertones and cooler, fuchsia pink shimmer throughout. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which delivered even coverage and never dragged or tugged on my lips during application. The lipstick had a smooth, lightly emollient consistency that was thin, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. It stayed on nicely for five and a half hours, left a stain behind, and felt moisturizing over time.
Melon d’Or (59)
YSL Melon d’Or (59) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick is a light-medium pink base that was barely warm-toned paired with warmer, peachy-gold shimmer that gave it more of a frosted finish. The shimmer was prone to separating along my lip lines and clumping together, so the finish was uneven and not nearly as smoothing as other shades in the range (which often had a lot less shimmer). The texture felt smooth, lightweight, and had some slip but wasn’t as emollient as most shades in the range. It lasted for four hours and felt lightly hydrating while worn.
Bois de Rose (66)
YSL Bois de Rose (66) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick is a muted, deep rosy mauve with warm undertones and a cream finish. The lipstick had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly and comfortably across my lips without dragging. The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy but not overly slippery during wear (despite a lot of shine!), and was hydrating while worn. There was a smidgen of product that settled into my deeper lip lines in the close-up photo but wasn’t enough to be noticeable in person. This shade wore well for four and a half hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
