Urban Decay Star Stunner Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss has a clear base with holographic sparkle–and it was described as having a clear base. It had semi-sheer coverage with respect to the sparkle, which was fine enough not to add texture to the gloss. The texture was smooth, more like a gel-cream hybrid, that was comfortable to apply and to wear. The gloss didn’t settle into my lips, and it was moisturizing over the three hours it lasted for.
Urban Decay Wildside Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss is a light-medium, orange-copper base with flecks of gold and pink sparkle. The consistency felt smooth and spread easily across my lips without settling into my lip lines, but there was enough sparkle (and large enough particles), that I was able to feel the grit of the glitter if I lightly pressed my lips together (which may be a deal-breaker for some!). It had medium color coverage, which was in line with the shimmer/sparkle shade marketing in this formula. It wore well for four hours and was hydrating while worn.
