Tom Holland Is The Face Of Prada’s Latest Advertising Campaign

Prada continues to make waves with its latest campaign starring Tom Holland, following the debut of its Fall/Winter 2022 collection. The Spiderman: No Way Home star is photographed against bright backgrounds for the campaign. Prada has a long history of using movie stars in its advertising campaigns. Kyle MacLachlan opened the show, as did Asa Butterfield of Sex Education, and Jeff Goldblum closed it for the Fall/Winter 2022 runway show.
Following the “In the Mood for Prada” seasonal campaign theme, Holland is seen striking poses intended to highlight the relationship between the body and the garments — adjusting his spring reddish leather biker jacket or bending his arms in a Prada ivory shirt with nautical themes. Prada explains that the campaign aims to “re-contextualise a figure world-renown for his action hero roles… Holland here becomes an embodiment of today’s Prada man.”

According to the brand, the power of acting is to draw on various personal experiences to convey a mood or emotion and feel it, despite the fact that it is fiction, and to capitalize on the actor’s own humanity. The images in the campaign capture minute actions and reactions, as well as the relationship between clothes and bodies. More Tom Holland campaign images can be found online.
