The Tom Ford Beauty Smoky Quartz Eye Color Crème Eye Shadow Quad is a brand-new, warmer-toned quad with a new cream-powder eye shadow formula that I had a fantastic experience with. All four eye shadows were pigmented, blendable, and long-lasting, but the magic was in how seamless and “thawed” they looked on my skin.

Smoky Quartz #1
Smoky Quartz #1 is a light yellowy-brown with controlled, cozy touches and a semi-matte coating. The texture was denser to the touch and felt much more cream-like, but when I applied it with my brush, it picked up like a powder and applied like one, with full opacity and easy mixing.
Smoky Quartz #2
Smoky Quartz # 2 is a light-medium rosy brownish with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had nontransparent shade protection paired with a smooth, cream-powder structure that behaved more like a powder once I started picking up product and blending it out on my skin, though it had the appearance of a lotion as it “thawed” on my skin. It was visible for about 9 hours before it faded.
Smoky Quartz #3
Smoky Quartz #3 is a deeper, medium reddish-brown with warm undertones and a satin finish. The consistency was creamier to the touch than it appeared in technique, as a little powderiness in the pan can be obtained by swirling a brush. It had an opaque coloring that lasted for about 9 hours before fading visibly.
Smoky Quartz #4
Smoky Quartz #4 is an inky, deep red-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The eye shadow had an exceptionally high shade benefit, so go slowly and build up if working with that level of payoff is uncomfortable.
