The new EP of JLEON evokes a dark "future"

Costa Rican Beatmaster JLEON published his second complete EP on Sleeveless Records .

EP Future is a dull and seductive and industrial vision of a sparse future with remnants of humanity. JLEON’s production prowess is amplified by his masterful sound design and variety of styles, with each track presenting his own distinctive and intriguing composition.

Future EP is a symphonic whirlwind of seemingly disparate sounds intertwined in a boiler of fresh, anguished rhythms. Among his highlights include his inaugural piece “ Digital Symphony “, a rhythmic cacophony of classical and electronic sounds shaped on a glitch melody and dictated by hip-hop. We hear a different side of JLEON in the mild and naive temperament “ of Rezz-o-nance “. Then, the title “ Future “, composed of the sleeveless warrior Kowta, evokes dark and industrial perspectives.

In just a few years, JLEON has found his place in the world of bass and has since created unique and profound rhythms. He collaborated and played with low music icons such as Alix Perez, Buku, founder of Sleeveless Records, Stylust. He is inspired by the styles of his native Costa Rica and fits perfectly with the other hitters of the bass music arena of Sleeveless Records on the west coast of the United States.
