The most expensive Christmas tree in the world costs around $15 million! Yes, 15 million, you read that right! Keep reading to find out why.
As if Christmas wasn’t already expensive enough, Kempinski Hotel Bahia, a five-star luxury resort located near Marbella, decided to go all out for these year’s festivities with the most expensive Christmas tree in the world! With an estimated value of $15 million, this Christmas tree is everything but discreet. It’s filled with jewels from luxury brands such as Bvlgari, high-end ornaments and even includes a few replicas from designer brands.
Extravagant, lavish and a bit decadent, this luxury Christmas tree placed in the lobby of the Kempinski Hotel Bahía has broken the record for the most expensive Christmas tree ever. It was born from a partnership between the hotel and the celebrity designer Debbie Wingham, who has worked with many celebrities throughout her brilliant career. Debbi Wingham has made a name for herself in the luxury world, having previously crafted the most expensive shoes in the world, valued at €15 million.
The tree draped in several diamonds – including black, pink, red and white diamonds, also features jewels from prestigious designers such as Bvlgari, Cartier, and Chanel. It includes four-carat sapphires and a blue diamond nutcracker.
The design of this tree was inspired by the colors of a peacock’s feathers, and by the modernist Art Deco era at the same time. So you can expect to find truly unique ornaments – martini glasses, feathers, perfume bottles, and 3D printed chocolate peacocks. There are also some of the most traditional elements.
And if you were thinking that is all, don’t make mistakes, this Christmas tree is decorated with miniatures from luxury design brands – including Luis Vuitton tiny bags.
