The Best Dressed African Male Celebrities Of The Week – January 12

It’s another Wednesday when we get to sit back and analyze the most inspiring male celebrity styles from the previous week. While fashion week runways are a great place for style inspiration for men and women alike, let’s face it, sometimes the people whose street style is most fun to ogle are the famous faces we’ve come to love. Yes – we’re talking about the African male celebrity heartthrobs whose fashion sense are just as on-fire as their looks. Because whether you’re a style connoisseur or simply enjoy taking in some well-dressed, cosily clad dudes, we can all appreciate a good outfit.

Maintaining a colourful streak, top Nigerian menswear designer Adebayo Oke-Lawal once again proved that comfort fashion comes easy to him as he paired an orangey shirt with a pair of greenish pants – both heavy on graphics. He finished the simple and playful look with a pair of ‘fur’ loafers and a matching hat. Outside of Nigeria, one of Tanzania’s most fashionable celebrities, Diamond Platnumz redefined classic menswear in a clean formal combination. What caught our eyes was the mask-like floral printed double-breasted jacket; a totally different yet equally impressive style from what we’re used to seeing on him.

Still on formal looks, popular Nigerian style influencer Akin Faminu served major lewks in a Chinese monarch-inspired blazer as he posed for a shoot. He paired the top with a pair of well fitted white trousers, complementing the ensemble with a pair of burgundy loafers. Such a classy look you’d agree. From casual to formal looks, there was no shortage of inspiration from our fave African male celebrities last week and we curated the best for you.
