Sydney Grace Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches (“Thunderous Sunset” Look)
Below Zero
Sydney Grace Below Zero Pressed Pigment Shadow is a medium-dark purple with subtle, cool undertones and a soft, metallic sheen. It had rich color coverage with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was blendable and easy to work with. The “downside” to this shade was that it appeared rather blue in the pan and, when used, turned out to be much more in the purple family. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading slightly.
Deliverer
Sydney Grace Deliverer Pressed Pigment Shadow is a bright, light-medium purple with warm undertones and a sparkling sheen. It had good pigmentation in a single layer, which applied somewhat evenly but had to buffed and smoothed out for a true, even application. The consistency was a bit looser, a touch drier, than most shades in the brand’s range of shimmery eyeshadows. It stayed on nicely for eight hours on me before fading visibly.
Golden Rose
Sydney Grace Golden Rose Pressed Pigment Shadow is a medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones paired with warmer, golden shimmer. The texture was incredibly smooth, cream-like, and blendable; it was denser without being thick or stiff in the pan. The pigmentation was opaque in a single pass, and it adhered well to bare skin with a smooth, even lay down of product. It lasted nicely for eight and a half hours on me before creasing faintly.
Sydney Grace Guardian Angels Shimmer Shadow
Guardian Angels
Sydney Grace Guardian Angels Shimmer Shadow is a soft, golden copper with strong, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The color payoff was fantastic with rich coverage achieved in a single layer. The texture was smooth to the touch, lightly creamy, blendable, and easy to work with as it applied evenly to my lid and didn’t have any fallout. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before it started to crease a bit.
Sydney Grace itsaboy Matte Shadow
itsaboy
Sydney Grace itsaboy Matte Shadow is a deep blue with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation but needed a second layer for full color coverage. The texture was slightly thin but blended out without too much effort, though it could have been more blendable. It started to show signs of fading on my skin after eight hours of wear.
Mystery
Sydney Grace Mystery Pressed Pigment Shadow is a pale lavender with cooler undertones and a pink-to-violet shift. It had good color coverage in a single layer that could be built up to full color coverage with a second layer. The consistency was soft, a little dusty in the pan, but it applied well and blended out with minimal effort. It stayed on well for eight hours on me before I noticed any fading.
Redeemer
Sydney Grace Redeemer Shimmer Shadow is a light-medium lavender with warm, pink undertones and a cooler, violet-to-blue shifting shimmer. It had rich pigmentation with a soft, lightly dusty texture that was blendable without losing its intensity. This shade went on evenly over bare skin and lasted well for eight hours before showing signs of wear.
