Shlohmo Travels To A Trippy Apocalypse With New Album The End

A month ago, Shlohmo returned with the announcement of his brand new The End album joined by the release of its titular lead single. The WeDidIt boss has now unveiled what’s he’s been meticulously constructing over his almost four-year hiatus. The End marks Shlohmo’s third studio album following his 2011 debut Bad Vibes and 2015 sophomore project Dark Red. Even more grungy and edgy than his previous works, Shlohmo’s 13-track album is comprised entirely of elongated rock-inspired instrumentals. Layering elements of gritty trap and haunting hip-hop, Shlohmo creates a trippy electronic apocalypse. Dark and ambient, Shlohmo has conjured up a cataclysm of moody, doomsday-esque tones and textured production that resolves in a mesmerizing sonic juxtaposition.
