French luxury house, Saint Laurent, is not only limited to making impressive ready-to-wear collections. The Rive Droite collection is an initiative imagined by the House’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello to expand the selection of products it offers. Apart from just fashion, now the House includes other lifestyle items such as furniture, homewares, accessories and many more. This creative space is not new for House as its founder Yves Saint Laurent has also sought to democratise his designs through the Rive Gauche line but what sets the two apart is the exclusivity of the Rive Droite pieces — they are limited-edition collectibles. With only two stores currently in cities such as Paris and Los Angeles, there is no doubt that they will be coveted by avid collectors. This year’s holiday collection features collaborations with the likes of Bang & Olufsen, Fatboy and Neo Legend.
Starting off the collection is a chic carrier for your furry companion then the range continues with a retro arcade machine that is adorned with a black and white marble finish. Continuing the House partnership last year with Bang & Olufsen, this year sees a new E8 wireless earbud emerged from the two brands. Also joining this year’s offerings are the black silk pillow from Fatboy and a wireless charging pad. Lastly, a book specially curated by Vaccarello will be released as well in dedication to Gray Sorrenti, a regular photographer for the House’s campaigns.
While currently, we are not able to physically visit the stores in Paris and Los Angeles, you can still have a peek online.
