Revlon Nude Illuminator, So Sleek Pink, Fuchsia Gleam Melting Glass Shine Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches

Nude Illuminator (020)

Revlon Nude Illuminator (020) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick is a muted, light-medium coral with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had good color coverage in a single layer, though it wasn’t opaque and couldn’t be built up to full coverage either.

The texture was smooth, moderately emollient, and felt like it melted against the warmth of my lips during application, so I’d recommend being more aware of that and applying just one layer as it skated so readily across my lips otherwise. The slip dissipated slightly after the first minute of wear, though it remained emollient and glossy. There was a bit of product that sank into my lip lines, which was more noticeable on my upper lip (the horizontal lines). It wore well for three hours and felt moisturizing over time.

So Sleek Pink (021)

Revlon So Sleek Pink (021) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick is a light pink with strong, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish with some pearl. The color payoff was medium to semi-opaque in one layer, so it definitely didn’t live up to the pigmentation claims of the formula, though that might not be a deal-breaker for everyone.

The lipstick had a lightweight, very creamy consistency that felt smooth and as if it melted when applied to my lips, and I feared the slip would make it harder to wear, but it seemed to “set” slightly and wasn’t quite as emollient after a minute or so of wear. There was a bit of product that seemed to sit in my deeper lip lines, but it wasn’t noticeable in person. This shade lasted well for three hours and felt hydrating over time.

Fuchsia Gleam (022)

Revlon Fuchsia Gleam (022) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick is a medium fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and faint, iridescent pearl paired with a lightly glossy, cream finish. It had less shine compared to most shades in the range. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and creamy and felt like the product melted against my lips as I applied it, though it lessened after a minute or so of wear and felt less slippery as a result.

It had medium to semi-opaque color payoff that applied fairly evenly, but there was a touch of product that sank into my deeper lip lines, though it didn’t seem to be enough to be noticeable in person. It stayed on nicely for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
