Porter Robinson Opens Up About Virtual Self Grammy Nomination
In only a 12 months’s time, Porter Robinson‘s life has executed a 180. It began when he started engaged on his Virtual Self undertaking, which has since led him to mass success and even a Grammy nomination. Trading in his fluttering future bass and synthpop melodies for trance and hardcore components, Porter Robinson seamlessly divulged his abilities into a complete new sub-genre of digital music with Virtual Self. Now nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording along with his good single “Ghost Voices”, Porter Robinson opened as much as Billboard in a latest interview relating to his newfound success along with his Virtual Self undertaking.
In the interview, Robinson revealed, “I honest to God do not care if I win or lose. I felt like I won the moment it got nominated. It was more than enough, but I’m completely satisfied that Virtual Self got nominated for the Grammy. That is a complete victory for the project in my mind and anything else is just a bonus.”
