YouTube's Rewind 2018 has been heavily criticized for hiding some of the major events of the year on the platform in favor of advertisers' appeal. Even if it is predictable, the creators have always been afraid of it, considering that they should have been presented, and even some of them had hard words to say about the thing once the last cut made.
Many YouTubers then created their own Rewind videos, including PewDiePie the most subscribed channel on YouTube (which was not even in the official return). The much more realistic rollback includes a large amount of actual platform content over the past 12 months, including Monstercat's viral "Crab Rave" and references to Marshmello. A brief mention of Avicii is also made in the "In Memoriam" section of the video.
Do not forget – it's still PewDiePie. If you do not like his comedy, this video will not please you either. After discarding it, check it below.
