North West’s Directorial Premiere: ‘Talking’ Music Video feat. Ye & Ty Dolla $ign

The creative torch is passed on to the next generation, and it seems the West family is leading the charge. North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has ventured into directing with her debut music video for her dad’s track “Talking,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The video premiered on Tuesday (April 30), showcasing scenes of North and her friends grooving to the beat.

At just 10 years old, North delivers her viral verse from the Vultures 1 album, spitting lines like, “I love it here/ We gonna take over the year for another year/ It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie/ Don’t tryna test me/ It’s gonna get messy/ Just, just bless me/ Bless me/ It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie/ Just tryna bless me/ Just bless me, bless me.”

The latter half of the video features Ty and Ye, both delivering their verses from “Once Again.” North’s directorial debut comes as she gears up for her debut album, “Elementary School Dropout,” paying homage to her father’s iconic debut EP, “Elementary School Dropout.” from 2004.

With this bold move, North adds her name to the list of celebrity offspring making waves in the creative sphere. It’s a thrilling prospect to witness her visual storytelling unfold, leaving us eager for more music videos or even films directed by North West in the future.
