Natasha Denona Palette 05 Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Palette 05
Natasha Denona Palette 05 Eyeshadow Palette 5 includes all shimmers, though two shades were more satin-to-pearl, but I suspect most will pair this with existing matte shades they enjoy. I felt like the quality was too mixed at this price point to justify, and while there were slight improvements I noted compared to the very first iterations I tried, there was still room for improvement for three of the five shades.
Calypso Blue (05M)
Calypso Blue (05M) is a medium brown with warm, reddish undertones and blue-to-green shifting shimmer that gave it a metallic finish. It had rich color coverage with a soft, lightly creamy texture that was more loosely-pressed but not to the point that it became prone to fallout. The color stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
Natasha Denona Tropic (08V) Duo-Chrome Eyeshadow
Tropic (08V)
Tropic (08V) is a medium, green-leaning teal with subtle, cooler undertones with warmer, greenish-gold pearl over a semi-matte finish. The texture was somewhat powdery, which resulted in a bit of fallout but was fairly manageable. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied evenly and blended out without difficulty. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
Natasha Denona Blue Spruce (02M) Metallic Eye Shadow
Blue Spruce (02M)
Blue Spruce (02M) is a medium-dark blue with strong, cool undertones and a pearl finish. It had opaque coverage but had a firmer, slightly dense texture that was stiffer to work with, so it needed a heavier hand or slight, jabbing motions to dislodge product. As a result, it was harder to blend it out as well. It lasted decently for eight hours before fading noticeably.
Deep Pacific (03V)
Deep Pacific (03V) is a blackened teal with cool undertones and fine pearl that gave it more of a satin finish once applied and blended out. The texture was soft, dusty, and had some fallout during application. It had semi-opaque coverage that build up decently but was best over an eyeshadow primer. The color stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.
Natasha Denona Pearl (56P) Metallic Eye Shadow
Pearl (56P)
Pearl (56P) is a light-medium gold with moderate, warm undertones and a smooth, metallic finish. It had rich color coverage with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was dense without being too thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan. The eyeshadow applied evenly and wore nicely for nine hours before fading a bit.
