Marc Jacobs Allow Me, Boom, Rebel Rebel Enamored Lip Lacquers Reviews & Swatches
Allow Me (302)
Marc Jacobs Beauty Allow Me (302) Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer is a medium, warmer-toned pink base with flecks of gold sparkle throughout. The consistency was smooth, more like a gel-cream, that was plush to wear but not heavy or too tacky. It had medium coverage, which applied fairly evenly over my lips and smoothed out a lot of my lip lines. It stayed on well for four hours and felt hydrating over time.
Boom (306)
Marc Jacobs Beauty Boom (306) Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer is a medium-dark raspberry with subtle, cool undertones and barely-there purple pearl. It had more of a glossy, jelly-like finish as it didn’t really translate as a shimmery gloss in practice.
The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and mostly non-sticky, so it spread easily over my lips, but the medium coverage made it difficult to get even application of the color. There were areas where it was heavier and some that sank into my deeper lip lines, though not too noticeable in person. It wore well for five hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
Rebel Rebel (308)
Marc Jacobs Beauty Rebel Rebel (308) Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer is a muted, medium-dark coral with warm undertones and pink and gold pearl throughout. It had good color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly across my lips without settling into lip lines (in fact, the formula smoothed out a lot of my lip lines!). The texture was smooth, spreadable, and plush without being heavy or too tacky, so it was comfortable to wear. It lasted nicely for five hours and felt hydrating while worn.
