In September final 12 months, Diplo shocked followers saying that the ultimate Major Lazer album can be dropped in 2019. The ramifications of such a press release clearly produced extra questions than solutions – Would the group totally disband or simply cease releasing music? Would there be a farewell tour à la Swedish House Mafia? When was it popping out? Who can be featured on it?
Well, it’s 2019 now and we don’t know rather more than we did in September. But on the very least, Major Lazer isn’t about to let the hype die down. The album is following within the very profitable footsteps of the group’s first three albums: Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do, Free The Universe, and Peace Is The Mission.
Peace Is The Mission was anticipated to be the A-side to an album rumored to be referred to as Music Is The Weapon, however that rumor was scrapped in early 2018 after some bogus data was fed to Genius.
The actual title of the fourth Major Lazer album stays a thriller, in addition to the tracklist or launch date. All we will do now’s wait and see what they’ve in retailer. In the meantime, take heed to their newest Major Lazer Essentials right here.
