Maison Mumm Celebrates The Cordon Rouge’s Bold New Bottle Design
Here’s a reason to purchase a bottle of iconic G.H Mumm Cordon Rouge champagne. The leading International champagne House, Maison Mumm, is reshaping its heritage with a bold and en trend redesign of its best-selling champagne – the G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge. The history of one of the best-selling champagne dates back before 1827, its official founding date and in its avant grande redesign, the #1 Grande Maison’s famed champagne showcases defining features of the Maison’s legacy.
Adopting a disruptive and modern take on Mumm’s heritage, the Maison’s founding date 1827 appears in a new modern font, while the sash is echoed on the neck in a nod to vintage archive bottles. Encapsulating the spirit of Mumm, the front was also given a redesign: transparent and emblazoned with Mumm’s iconic red sash, a historic symbol of excellence. This decoration was inspired by the red sashes bestowed upon those distinguished individuals receiving the highest of French honours, the Ordre Royal et Militaire de Saint Louis and the Grand Cordon de la Légion d’Honneur.
What better way to celebrate the reveal of the stunning new Cordon Rouge bottle than to host a series of dazzling parties that challenge preconceived notions of how champagnes should be served and enjoyed.
The revolutionary and historic brand took over W Kuala Lumpur’s WET and SPLASH sessions featuring international DJ sets and party packages, along with Maison’s emblematic champagnes served by the Mumm Serving Squad.
The redesigned G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge is now available in off-trade outlets, for gifting and home celebrations. For more information on Mumm’s series of parties, please visit W Kuala Lumpur’s Facebook page.
