MAC French Silk, Daddy’s Girl, Tres Blase Love Me Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
MAC French Silk Love Me Lipstick is a bright pop of mid-tone coral with warmer undertones and a natural sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly for the most part. The texture was lightweight, thin without being clingy, and it applied without dragging on me. I had issues with the lipstick emphasizing imperfections in lip texture (despite exfoliating prior!), and there was a bit of product that sank into my lip lines. The color lasted nicely for four hours and was lightly moisturizing while worn.
MAC Daddy’s Girl Love Me Lipstick is a medium-dark pink with moderate, warmer undertones and a natural sheen. It had good pigmentation in a single layer, though the texture was less forgiving, so it appeared a bit uneven and has a tendency to sink into my lip lines while emphasizing imperfections in lip texture. The lipstick felt lightly creamy and smooth as it glided across my lips, and it didn’t have so much slip that it felt wet or slippery on, but it sure looked like it did. It wore well for four hours and was lightly hydrating over time.
MAC Tres Blasé Love Me Lipstick is a muted, medium pink with strong, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had rich color coverage that adhered evenly and smoothly over my lips in a single, fluid stroke. The texture was lightweight, emollient without being too slippery nor too thin, and it was comfortable to apply and to wear. I didn’t have any issues with this accentuating lip texture, though there was a smidgen of product in my deeper lip lines–but thankfully, that wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. It stayed on well for four hours and was lightly moisturizing over time.
