KSHMR much anticipated debut album, “Harmonica Andromeda”

KSHMR takes us on a triumphant musical journey with his much anticipated debut album, Harmonica Andromeda — out now via Dharma Worldwide & Spinnin’ Records. Grand theatrics, striking melodies, and captivating beats control the next 14 tracks running 45 minutes, taking us through worldly soundscapes and uniting various cultures through music. The album’s intention is best conveyed with a full listen through, track-by-track, interludes and all. Previously released singles “The World We Left Behind” featuring Karra and “Around The World” featuring Noumenn set the tone for KSHMR’s artistry moving forward. But the variety heard here — from the carnival style title track opener to the large, cinematic moments of “Blood In The Water” to the deeper, bass heavy “Song Of War” — amplifies the versatility of the producer’s sound and Harmonica Andromeda itself.

KSHMR shares of the release:

The creation of Harmonica Andromeda made me fall in love with music all over again — there’s a journey in every song. It’s the most creative music I’ve ever made and the most challenging, filled with sharp turns and surprises. I hope the world loves it as much as I do.

Per KSHMR’s team, “the body of work is inspired by the emotional quality of movie scores. Harmonica Andromeda follows the story of a young boy who just lost his mother. Upon her passing, she leaves him instructions to embark on an adventure exploring different worlds; this story is communicated through the songs, artwork, and forthcoming music videos.” With that in mind, the final track hits even sweeter, as KSHMR ends it all on “Paula.” The loving ode to his mother showcases KSHMR’s own vocals for the first time ever with vulnerability, gratitude, and genuine loving nature on full display.
