Kaja Velvet Dream Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio includes three matte eyeshadows in a more velvety, less powdery formula than the brand has released previously. I was surprised to see that this one and the other one launched with it were both rather light-leaning, as Kaja has been a brand that has released most of their trios without putting in very light matte shades–this is the lighter of the two. All three shades had more medium to mostly opaque coverage, were blendable, and easy enough to work with but had light powderiness overall.
Kaja White Chocolate Matte Eyeshadow
White Chocolate is a darker, peachy beige with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a smooth, more velvety texture that wasn’t too powdery. It lasted well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.
Kaja Rosy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow
Rosy Velvet is a medium-dark peach with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, smooth, and blendable with a touch of powderiness in the pan. The eyeshadow had nearly opaque color coverage that stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.
Kaja Brownie Bite Matte Eyeshadow
Brownie Bite is a medium, reddish-brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out without difficulty. The texture was soft, velvety, and smooth but slightly powdery. It stayed on well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
