Kaja Spiked Ginger Beauty Bento Eyeshadow Trio Review & Swatches

Spiked Ginger

Kaja Spiked Ginger Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio is a new, warm-toned neutral eyeshadow trio that included two matte shades and one shimmery shade. All three eyeshadows had rich color payoff, blendable and easy-to-work-with textures, and lasted between eight and nine hours on me. Kaja has put out another winning trio–the format is compact, travel-friendly, and the three shades complemented each other.

Nude Apricot

Nude Apricot is a light, peachy brown with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. The texture was incredibly smooth and silky with a touch of powderiness in the pan. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Pretty Penny is a muted, medium-dark copper with moderate, rosy undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency was soft, smooth, and almost cream-like–dense and plush but not too heavy or stiff, so it still picked up well with a dry brush and had great adhesion to bare skin. It had opaque color payoff that stayed on nicely for nine hours before fading noticeably.

Toffee is a medium, caramel brown with strong, warm orange undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had excellent pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease along the edges. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and velvety, so it wasn’t prone to powderiness and didn’t sheer out too readily when applied. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
