Amidst the array of tailored flannel suits, trench coats, leather jackets, knitwear, sheepskin coats, woolen pants, bags and other accessories – the collection showcased a technical yet poetic vision of garment, creating a sense of sensuality and depth, coupled with an understanding of graphic harmony through the rich use of each fabric.
Asserting power in every design, the collection features hypnotic and strikingly unavoidable patterns which are not only luminous but captivating to the eye. Much of the Hermes AW2020 collection incorporates pure lines and ample shapes in generous proportion, with warm fabrics in shades of camel, off-white, rope, hazelnut, chocolate, ebony, and charcoal, amongst many others.
With most garments possessing a double-sided functionality, the latest Hermes collection represents a radical display of French culture and innovation in an exemplary show of taste, ingenuity and artisanship.
