It’s no surprise that newlyweds flock here for their honeymoon memories because the Indian Ocean’s crystalline waters are unbelievably enchanting. If you’re a sucker for depths, a dive or snorkel on a vibrant reef with Napoleon wrasse, dolphins, whitetip reef sharks, and a plethora of colorful tropical fish species will pique your interest.

There’s a reason Seychelles has always been included in lists of romantic destinations around the world, and this beach is proof of that. Anse Source D’Argent, on the island of La Digue, is one of the island nation’s most famous beaches. With dramatic boulders, shallow turquoise waters, and gently curving palm trees, this addictive terrain of sun, sand, and sea is perhaps the archetypal paradise beach.

This sheltered town on the outskirts of the desert offers some of Egypt’s best beachfronts, diving trips, and all the amenities of some of the country’s most upscale resorts. The best part is that you get to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Red Sea while having an unforgettable beach experience.

The beaches here are usually deserted, giving the impression of landing in a deserted paradise, albeit one with luxury amenities. On a kayak or a sailboat, you can enjoy the calm aquamarine waters. If you enjoy fishing, you will have no trouble finding a fishing guide and boat to satisfy your guilty pleasure.

This is without a doubt one of Zanzibar’s most beautiful beaches. It was once just a small fishing village, but it has since grown into a popular tourist destination. The hideaway is set against a backdrop of swaying palm trees on the island’s northern tip. Despite the lack of coral in the waters, the shallow sea makes this an excellent swimming spot.

Banana beach, São Tomé and Príncipe

Banana Beach, the country’s most famous beach, is another one of Africa’s most beautiful beaches. With white sand curving in a banana shape around turquoise waters — hence its name — the luxury destination is undoubtedly ideal for swimming. Banana Beach, the region’s crown jewel, has no beach resorts and is largely undeveloped. The only settlement is a small fishing village 10 minutes away, and there are several hotels within walking distance of this gem.
