Fenty Beauty Tropic Tantrum Poutsicle Juicy Satin Lipstick is a bright, fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a cream finish. The texture was smooth, lightly creamy, and a little thicker compared to most shades in the range, which seemed to translate into a slightly creamier, more emollient quality to the product as well. The pigmentation was nearly opaque in one layer, but there was a bit of streaking along the edges of my lips and slight product build up in my lip lines. It wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance as it was quite opaque and vibrant. The color lasted well for five hours, left a stain behind, and was lightly hydrating over time.
Fenty Beauty Alpha Doll Poutsicle Juicy Satin Lipstick is a bright, medium-dark lavender purple with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had good color payoff but needed a second layer for full coverage. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and balm-like with light slip, though it had more shine than expected (based on texture alone). There was product that slipped into my deeper lip lines but not enough that it was noticeable from a normal viewing distance. It wore well for four and a half hours, left a pink stain behind, and was moisturizing over time.
Fenty Beauty Purpsicle Poutsicle Juicy Satin Lipstick is a medium purple with warm, pink undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation one layer, which didn’t quite build up to full coverage with a second layer. The lipstick had a smooth, lightweight feel that was balm-like but firmer (without being stiff) so it didn’t feel as emollient as it appeared (in terms of shine). The color went on fairly evenly, but there was a touch of product in my deeper lip lines; luckily, that wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. It stayed on nicely for five hours and was hydrating while worn.
