Fenty Beauty Retro Rose, Goji Gang, Cookies & Cocoa Slip Shine Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Retro Rose
Fenty Beauty Retro Rose Slip Shine Sheer Shiny LipstickΒ is a light-medium coral with moderate, warm undertones and fine, multi-colored pearl paired with a luminous sheen. It appeared warmer when swatched, so I think that it pulled out the natural pink tones in my underlying lip color.
The texture felt creamy without being too slippery, lightweight, and balmy once on without being tacky or prone to settling into my lip lines (I was surprised that it made my lips appear smoother). It had semi-sheer coverage that could be built up to medium coverage with a second layer. This shade wore well for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
Goji Gang
Fenty Beauty Goji Gang Slip Shine Sheer Shiny Lipstick is a medium-dark rosy-mauve with subtle, warm undertones and fine, golden pearl. It had sheer to semi-sheer pigmentation in a single layer, which built up to semi-sheer to medium coverage with a second layer. The texture felt lightweight, balmy, and lightly creamy with some slip but not to the point where it felt like it slid around during wear. It lasted well for three and a half hours and felt hydrating while worn.
Cookies and Cocoa
Fenty Beauty Cookies and Cocoa Slip Shine Sheer Shiny Lipstick is a muted, medium mauve with warmer undertones and warm, golden pearl throughout its luminous sheen. It had semi-sheer color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without tugging on them during application.
The impressive aspect of the formula was that it smoothed out my lip lines and still had shine and moderate slip. The consistency was lightweight, balmy but not too slippery, and comfortable to wear. The color stayed on nicely for three and a half hours and felt moisturizing over time.
