Deep Neutrals (3)
Fenty Beauty Deep Neutrals (3) Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette contains four matte eyeshadows and two shimmer eyeshadows to create a deeper, richer take on neutrals.
As has been true of most of the shades in the brand’s palettes, the mattes performed best with good pigmentation that blended out well and had solid wear. The shimmers were better in this palette than some of the others, but the did under-perform.
Fenty Beauty Nudy Booty Eyeshadow
Nudy Booty is a light-medium, taupe-brown with muted, warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had rich pigmentation in a single layer, while the texture was soft, blendable but somewhat powdery in the pan so make sure to tap off excess prior to application. It stayed on well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
Fenty Beauty Fiya Freak Eyeshadow
Fiya Freak is a rich, medium-dark orange with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had excellent pigmentation with a slightly drier, firmer texture, though I didn’t find it too difficult to pick up product. The firmer texture made it easier to build up product by picking up less product, though. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
Fenty Beauty Heaven Cent Eyeshadow
Heaven Cent is a medium-dark copper with subtle, warm undertones and flecks of pink and gold shimmer that gave it a frosted finish overall. The texture was a bit firmer and denser in the pan, so it needed a heavier hand to pick up product evenly with a brush. It had good color coverage that applied evenly to bare skin but had light fallout during application. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.
Fenty Beauty Shots Fired Eyeshadow
Shots Fired is a medium-dark burgundy with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was stiffer, drier, and a bit thinner compared to the other shades, though it blended out without too much extra effort (better than expected!). It had good color payoff that was buildable to mostly opaque coverage over bare skin, but it’s a shade I’d definitely use over a primer. The color stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
Fenty Beauty Smash or Pass Eyeshadow
Smash or Pass
Smash or Pass is a muted, medium-dark brown with moderate, warm undertones and a soft, frosted finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage that adhered evenly to bare skin, though it was a little overly emollient so I had to be careful to place it and only blend out the edges to avoid pushing the product around. It wore well for eight hours before I noticed slight fading.
Fenty Beauty No Fudge Given Eyeshadow
No Fudge Given
No Fudge Given is a deep brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff that was buildable to full coverage with less than half of a layer more. The consistency was soft, a little dusty in the pan, but it applied evenly and blended out without difficulty. It lasted well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
