EXCLUSIVE: Judge dismisses lawsuit trying to stop Ultra

Rapture Festival is doing every thing in its energy to stop Ultra Music Festival from occurring on Virginia Key on March 29-31. Rapture claims it beforehand had declare to the island after holding their competition their the previous two years; it hit Ultra with a stop & desist in January adopted by a full-on lawsuit yesterday.

Ultra responded to the lawsuit, stating, “There is no merit to the recent lawsuit. To claim that Ultra has violated the law is both disappointing and misplaced.” It appears the courtroom agrees.

In a call handed out immediately, the courtroom dismissed Rapture’s lawsuit.

“[…] the Complaint fails on its face to plausibly allege any illegal conspiracy or anticompetitve association between Defendants. Plaintiff depends solely on conclusory allegations of conspiracy backed by no factual allegations in any way.”

The choose is giving Rapture one probability to amend its unique declare or withdraw it fully; if the courtroom has to dismiss the modification, “it would achieve this with prejudice.”
