Elohim and EDEN join forces on an immersive new track, “Vacuum,” which blends elements of folk and drum n bass into something truly beautiful and utterly unique. “Vacuum” is instantly brought to life through its quick-tempo drum patterns and floating guitars, all guided by the ethereal nature of Elohim’s voice. Subtle hints of melancholy are brought to a resolve by the end, as “Vacuum” emerges as a shining gem from EDEN’s upcoming compilation, New World Tapes.
Along with the release, Elohim shares a statement:
EDEN holds a special place in my heart. When he asked me if I would be interested in sharing a song for his compilation, my answer was ‘Yes’ right away because I know he puts his whole heart and soul into everything he does. I made the song ‘Vacuum’ my second week in quarantine after an entire cancelled tour and a lot of heartbreak, fear and confusion. ‘Vacuum’ was my first attempt at creating music during this strange time at home and it sparked the fire inside of me to keep going. I am grateful to be able to release ‘Vacuum’ this close to when I created it and honoured EDEN chose me to be a part of this beautiful project.
