The Output Club, scheduled to close on January 1, 2019, has been home to many of New York's greatest house, techno and trap shows. This year alone, Output hosted Virtual Self, REZZ, Flosstradamus, Flux Pavilion, Jauz, Tchami and Mija.

As a result of this announcement, dozens of artists have expressed their hearts for this devastating news. Check out the tweets from Kaskade, Mija, Mat Zo, Gramatik and more below.

I've had some of my best moments in New York at @OutputClubBK – this place will be missed !! Thank you for giving #REDUX a home.
Fortunately, we will still have our photos to remember. Here is my favorite. 🤷🏼♂️ pic.twitter.com/agvB1kF6qC

I have a broken heart. So much respect, love and admiration for @OutputClubBK – thanks to you, guys, for having facilitated some of my favorite concerts so far. https://t.co/9oFzLyMgn5

Wake up the announcement of the closure of @OutputClubBK is much worse. My favorite club in the world closes, but even worse, what will happen to dance music in New York?

– Mat Zo (@Mat_Zo) December 11, 2018

That makes me sad 😔 https://t.co/NRROvM4soD

Very sad to learn that @OutputClubBK is closing. I have experienced one of the most joyous and rewarding experiences as a DJ during the past four years.

I can not tell you how many memories I saw at the exit
I saw skream, bonobo, james blake … the list goes on
all without VIP, without service to the bottle and dress code
feel very lucky to have played there – at its best, it was all that dance music * can * be – inclusive, unpretentious, fun https: // t .co / z4z1UxG2PW
