Dior Cruise Look Eyeshadow Palette

Cruise Look (022)

Dior Cruise Look (022) 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette is a new(er), warm-toned neutral color story with finishes that ranged from pearl to metallic. It was a lighter-leaning palette without a darker matte to add depth, so it may not work for everyone as a standalone palette.

Cruise Look #1

Cruise Look #1 is a light, rosy brown with warm undertones and fine pink and gold pearl. It had semi-opaque color coverage that was buildable when applied over a primer. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and a touch dusty in the pan but blendable. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Cruise Look #2

Cruise Look #2 is a bright, pale pink with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had mostly opaque pigmentation, which was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. The texture was moderately dense, slightly firmer, so there was no powderiness of fallout, but it still picked up readily with a dry brush. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Cruise Look #3

Cruise Look #3 is a deep, richer copper with moderate, warm orange undertones and a pearly sheen. The eyeshadow had a smooth, moderately dense texture that was soft and yielding with no fallout. It had opaque color payoff that adhered evenly to bare skin and lasted well for eight hours.

Cruise Look #4

Cruise Look #4 is a light-medium, yellow gold with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had opaque color coverage paired with a soft, lightly creamy texture that wasn’t too dense or too softly-pressed into the pan, so it picked up nicely with a brush and blended out readily. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Cruise Look #5

Cruise Look #5 is a light taupe with warmer undertones and a pearly sheen. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable with slight firmness but not stiffness. It had rich pigmentation that lasted well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
