ColourPop You’re Golden 30-Pan Mega-Sized Eyeshadow Palette

You’re Golden

ColourPop You’re Golden 30-Pan Shadow Palette is a new, mega-sized eyeshadow palette that included 14 matte shades, 12 shimmer shades, three sparkle matte shades, and one pressed glitter shade. The majority of the shades had mostly opaque to opaque color coverage and lasted between seven and eight hours. There were some shades that were more powdery in the pan or more prone to fallout during application or later on during wear.

PCH

PCH is a brighter, medium peach with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque color coverage, though the texture was somewhat powdery so there was some sheerness in practice. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Jet Set

Jet Set is a light beige with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The texture was soft, smooth, and lightly emollient, which helped the sparkles adhere to bare skin along with the opaque base. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.

ColourPop Rum Season Pressed Glitter

ColourPop Rum Season Pressed Glitter

Rum Season

Rum Season has a transparent base chocked full of small iridescent glitter particles. It had semi-sheer color coverage at best, and it could have distributed more evenly. The texture felt emollient and almost wet to the touch, as consistent with the brand’s pressed glitters. This shade contained plastic (PET) glitter and was not intended for use on the eye area. I tested wear as a highlighter, and there was some glitter migration present after eight hours of wear.

One Way

One Way is a light gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a metallic sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a moderately emollient consistency that was dense but not thick. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Salty

Salty is a soft peach with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had semi-sheer to medium pigmentation that was best applied with a fingertip or a dampened brush, which improved opacity but also ensured the eyeshadow applied more evenly. The texture was soft, somewhat drier, and more loosely-pressed. It stayed on decently for seven and a half hours on me.

Hidden Gem

Hidden Gem is a medium peach with warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly powdery but not prone to sheering out too readily. It had full color coverage that applied evenly and lasted nicely for seven and a half hours before fading a bit.

Covet

Covet is a light, golden brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was lightly powdery, though it was more velvety and substantial, so while there was light fallout when applied and blended out, it still yielded full coverage. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Secret Spot

Secret Spot is a light-medium brown with warmer, more orange undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque color payoff in a single layer, though the consistency was more powdery and had light fallout. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

On Ice

On Ice is a medium gold with strong, warm undertones and a frosted finish. The texture was more loosely-pressed and drier, which resulted in some fallout during application. It had mostly opaque pigmentation, but I would apply it using a fingertip or a dampened brush to help the product apply evenly and to minimize fallout. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Remote

Remote is a vivid, medium-dark orange-coral with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had rich pigmentation that was paired with a soft, blendable texture that was a little powdery in the pan but not in practice. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Cruise

Cruise is a medium-dark beige with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. I found this shade was more reactive to any natural oils on my skin, which resulted in the product going on a little uneven in color, so it would be better over a drier eyeshadow base. The texture was soft, somewhat powdery but blendable and not too prone to fallout. It had opaque pigmentation that stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Illusion

Illusion is a light, peachy copper with strong, warm undertones and flecks of sparkle over a metallic finish. It had semi-sheer color coverage, which was best applied with a fingertip or a dampened brush to achieve full coverage and to minimize fallout as the texture was chunkier. There was light fallout after eight hours of wear.

Weekend

Weekend is a rich, light-medium golden copper with strong, warm undertones and a bright, metallic finish. The consistency was smooth, almost cream-like to the touch, and moderately dense without being difficult to pick up. The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation that wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Sandy

Sandy is a bright, medium-dark pink-coral base with warmer, lighter gold shimmer throughout that gave it a metallic finish. The eyeshadow had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which was paired with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that wasn’t too firmly-pressed into the pan. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Lounger

Lounger is a light-medium, caramel brown with moderate, warm orange undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, velvety consistency that was a little powdery in the pan but not apparent on the lid, as the product went on evenly and blended out well along the edges. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Bayshore

Bayshore is a vivid, molten gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a metallic finish. The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well. The texture was soft, smooth, and lightly emollient without being too dense or too firmly-pressed into the pan. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

ColourPop Suns Out Pressed Powder Shadow

Suns Out

Suns Out is a very light, bluish-aqua with warmer, green-gold shimmer. It had a drier consistency with chunkier shimmer particles, so it was more prone to emphasizing skin texture. I had a smoother, more even result when applying it with a fingertip or a dampened brush as this helped to bind everything together better. It stayed on well for seven and a half hours on me.

Private Beach

Private Beach is a light-medium, yellowed brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, slightly powdery but blendable and substantial enough not to be prone to sheering out too easily. It had opaque color coverage that lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Must Stay

Must Stay is a light, peachy brown with strong, warm orange undertones and flecks of gold micro-sparkle over a matte finish. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, though the flecks of sparkle did not bind with the base color, so there was fallout during application. The texture was soft, blendable, and lightly powdery but wasn’t prone to sheering out. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Saunter

Saunter is a medium, caramel brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too firmly nor too loosely-pressed into the pan. It had opaque color coverage that stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

The Palisades

The Palisades is a medium, coppery brown with strong, warm orange undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen. It had opaque pigmentation paired with a moderately dense, lightly creamy texture that wasn’t too firmly-pressed into the pan, so it remained easy to pick up and to blend out. There were signs of fading present after eight hours of wear.

Balmy

Balmy is a darker copper with moderate, warm orange undertones and a soft, more pearl-like sheen. It had opaque color coverage with a soft, slightly more loosely-pressed and drier texture, though it applied evenly and had minimal fallout during application. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Primetime

Primetime is a medium brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. The color payoff was opaque in a single pass, which adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out without difficulty. The texture was slightly firmer in the pan, so there was no powderiness, but it didn’t inhibit the application. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

Daydreamer

Daydreamer is a medium, golden taupe brown with warmer, lighter bronze sparkle over a metallic finish. The texture was slightly drier to the touch, though it had opaque color coverage and applied evenly with slight fallout while blending out well along the edges. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Cover Up

Cover Up is a deep brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque color coverage with a slightly firmer texture, though that ensured there was no fallout and made it easier to build up (if desired); the blending took longer due to the firmness. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Slumber

Slumber is a rich, orange-copper with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was moderately firm in the pan, so it wasn’t prone to powderiness or fallout, but it still was yielding and blendable. The eyeshadow had rich color payoff that stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Warmer Daze

Warmer Daze is a dark, reddish-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had rich color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with little effort, though there was a little fallout due to the lightly powdery consistency. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Bask

Bask is a medium brown with moderate, warm undertones and flecks of gold micro-sparkle over a matte finish. The sparkles did not bind with the underlying base color, so they resulted in some fallout, though many of the sparkles seemed to get trapped in my brush. The texture was smooth, velvety, and slightly powdery in the pan, but it had opaque coverage that wasn’t prone to sheering out too readily. It wore well for eight hours with light fallout over time.

Sporty

Sporty is a muted, dark blue-teal with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a soft, smooth, and blendable texture that had a touch of powderiness present in the pan. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Fling (You’re Golden)

Fling (You’re Golden) is a deep brown with neutral-to-cool undertones and flecks of gold micro-sparkle over a matte finish. The sparkles did not translate much when applied, other than in the form of fallout. The texture was soft, blendable, and lightly powdery, while the base color was nearly opaque and buildable from there. It lasted well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.
