ColourPop Wanna Bee Eyeshadow Palette

Wanna Bee

The ColourPop Wanna Bee 9-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is a limited-edition nine-pan eyeshadow palette that’s currently only available at Ulta, but will eventually be available directly from the brand. There were five matte eyeshadows and four shimmery eyeshadows in the set. Two of the shimmers were more sheer and/or prone to fallout, whereas the mattes were pigmented, blendable, and not overly powdery.

Pollen 4 U

Pollen 4 U has a matte finish and is a faded peach with moderate, warm undertones. Because the shade had a muted quality, I’d almost say it was a mix of peach and beige. It had opaque pigmentation and a soft, powdery texture, but it was substantial enough to adhere well to bare skin and wasn’t prone to sheering out too quickly. It lasted for eight hours before noticeably fading.

Honeycomb

Honeycomb is a medium peachy-orange base with a metallic finish and lighter, true gold shimmer. Because the texture was moderately dense, lightly creamy, and a little thicker than other shimmers, it needed to be smoothed out a little more. It provided opaque color coverage for eight hours before visibly fading.

To Bee

To Bee is a medium yellow with a matte finish and strong, warm undertones. In the pan, the eyeshadow had a soft, smooth consistency that was a little powdery but not in use. It had a full color payoff that lasted for eight hours before starting to fade.

Buzzed

Buzzed is a light yellowy orange with a matte finish and strong, warm undertones. It had a nearly opaque pigmentation that could be built up to full coverage with ease. The texture was silky, velvety, and powdery, but it didn’t appear to be prone to fallout during application and blending. It lasted for eight hours before noticeably fading.

Sweet Much

Sweet Much is a light-medium yellow with a frosted finish and moderate, warm undertones. It had a medium color payoff that could be built up but was best applied with a dampened brush or a fingertip. It had a light emollient texture and was on the thinner side. It lasted for eight hours before visibly fading.

Worker B

Worker B is a medium caramel brown with a matte finish and warmer orange undertones. The eyeshadow had a smooth, finely milled texture that was slightly powdery in the pan but didn’t fall out or sheer out. I was able to achieve full pigmentation in one layer with ease. It lasted for eight hours before starting to fade.

Oh Beehive

Oh Beehive is a deep copper with warm orange undertones and gold flecks glistening on a metallic sheen. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation, but it was drier and prone to fallout in a moderate way. To minimize fallout, I recommend using a dampened brush and/or adhesive spray. It stayed put for eight hours, but there was some light fallout after that.

So Nectar

So Nectar is a rich, medium orange with warm undertones and a lighter, golden-orange shimmer. The eyeshadow had an opaque color payoff that was easy to blend out and adhered well to bare skin. It was easy to pick up product with a dry brush because the texture was moderately dense, lightly creamy but not overly thick. It lasted for eight hours before visibly fading.

Beezy

Beezy is a matte medium-dark reddish-brown with warm undertones and a medium-dark reddish-brown. Without being too powdery or firmly pressed into the pan, the consistency was smooth, velvety, and blendable. It provided opaque color coverage that stayed put on bare skin. It lasted for eight hours before starting to fade.
