Super Dawn and Fawn shock shadow duo pop color Super Dawn shock shadow duo and pop color fawn

Dawn and fawn

The Shadow Dawn and Fawn Shadow Super shock duo ($ 5.00 for 0.07 oz) consists of a brilliant shine of coral red and a gold moderately dark. When they are superimposed, they create a more dimensional copper red and glittering with gold.

Dawn

Dawn is a bright coral red, with sparkling pink flecks. It had an almost opaque pigmentation with a smooth and slightly creamy texture applied in a thin layer that smelled and acted more powdery once on my lid. It mixed well and stayed fine for 10 hours without fading or wrinkling, but it slightly stained my lid.

Illamasqua Paranormal (LE,) is more shimmering (similar to 90%). Geek Razzleberry Makeup (P, $ 6.00) is less shimmery, darker (85% of similar product) .Makeup For Ever I746 Watermelon (P, $ 17.00) is more shimmering, lighter, warmer (similar at 85%) .Morph Ruby (PiP,) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (at 85% similar) .Color Pop Pebbles (DC, $ 5.00) is more shimmery, lighter, warmer (80% similar) .Colour Pop Vertigo (P, $ 5.00) is more shimmery, lighter, brighter (80% similar). Urban disintegration (LE, $ 19.00) is more shimmering, lighter, warmer (80% similar). More dupes – click to see the full list!

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow is a cream formula with a multitude of shades and finishes. The most metallic shades have the most skid (they have a “wetter” feel), while the duller ones have a firmer, more clayey consistency. Almost every shade of ColourPop I tried was exceptionally long (more than 10 hours of wear, usually until I removed them, even 14 hours later). The pigmentation may vary from one hue to the other, but the average hue is quite pigmented.

According to the readers’ comments, many like them but some do not like them at all. They are not a traditional cream eyeshadow because they are denser (more spongy) and apply better with flat and firm synthetic brushes (I like MAC 242 and 249). The brand recommends using the fingers for the most pigmented applications, but I only felt that the fingers were needed on some shades (usually very bright ones).

The dullest shades may be drier and have medium to opaque coverage, although they are often buildable. They can be a bit difficult to broadcast, even if some are nice to work.

The most glittering hues were the weakest for me, as they may be simpler or harder to apply. Sometimes they are more pigmented and work like the other finishes of the formula, but often they are thinner and work only on more pigmented eyeshadow to add shine. However, they tend to have little impact over time, with occasional shades having a more moderate amount of fallout (but still less spillover than most powdered eyeshadows with glitter).

Fawn is a moderately dark gold with bright yellow and intense shades, as well as golden and pink hues on a more frosted finish. It covered the colors well, even if it was not opaque enough without the fingertips to apply this particular shade.
