ColourPop Songbird & Cherry Bomb Lippie Stix Reviews & Swatches

Songbird

Colour Pop Songbird Lippie Stix is a bright, medium plum with cool undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, creamy consistency that wasn’t too thick nor too thin, which gave it a comfortable feel on my lips but ensured the color stayed on well. The finish was also more flattering and kinder to my lip lines. On me, this shade lasted well for five and a half hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Cherry Bomb

Colour Pop Cherry Bomb Lippie Stix is a bright, medium fuchsia pink with subtle, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. The texture was slightly firmer and thinner, which required firmer pressure to apply it in a single stroke–not painful but not as comfortable as most shades I’ve tried within the range. It had good pigmentation that went on fairly evenly, but there was very faint streaking along the edges of my lips and some product slipped into my lip lines. The brighter color helped to camouflage these minor flaws. It wore well for six hours, left a pink stain behind, and was non-drying over time.
