ColourPop Set on Sapphire Eyeshadow Quad
Set on Sapphire
The ColourPop Set on Sapphire Pressed Powder Shadow Quad is a new sapphire-inspired color story that comes in a clear plastic compact with two shimmers and two matte shades. The colors were more unique than not, which is always a plus! The shimmers had extra slip to them, so they might work better for those with drier lids naturally or over an eyeshadow primer for better grip and staying power.
ColourPop Too Precious Pressed Powder Shadow
Too Precious
Too Precious is a pale, purplish-blue base with a blue-aqua to green-aqua shifting pearl. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation that blended well and adhered evenly to bare skin. The texture was smooth to the touch but slightly loosely pressed, but it was slippy enough to apply without fallout. It lasted for about eight hours before starting to fade.
So Pure
So Pure has a metallic finish and a blackened navy base with a lighter mix of medium-dark blue and cooler, purplish-blue shimmer. It applied best by pressing into place and then blending the edges as needed because it had rich color coverage and a smooth, moderately emollient texture with noticeable slip. It lasted for eight hours before noticeably fading.
Laser Focus
A faded cornflower blue with strong, cool undertones and a matte finish, Laser Focus is a faded cornflower blue with strong, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had a soft, lightly powdery texture that was substantial enough to blend without sheering out too quickly, and it had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation. It lasted for eight hours before visibly fading.
Wise One
Wise One is a faded navy blue with a matte finish and strong, cool undertones (almost purple). It had a single layer with full color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges without losing its intensity. In the pan, the texture was smooth, velvety, and slightly powdery, but there was no fallout. It lasted for about eight hours before starting to fade.
