Melt 4 U
ColourPop Melt 4 U 5-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a new, peach-and-coral themed palette that included two mattes, one sparkle matte, and two shimmers. The palette was decent–fairly pigmented and blendable–but somewhat powdery, so it was prone to fallout during application. I’d recommend doing eyes ahead of base products and using a primer to help with some adhesion.
Bonbon
Bonbon is a medium peach with warmer, more orange undertones and fine, pink pearl throughout that gave it a subtle shift, though I wouldn’t call it a full-on duochrome. The texture was creamy, moderately dense, but it wasn’t too firmly-pressed into the pan and picked up well with a dry brush. The eyeshadow applied evenly with opaque coverage that stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.
Sweetie
Sweetie is a bright, pink-peach with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, but the texture was somewhat powdery, which resulted in the product sheering out and having fallout during application. It lasted for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.
Dipped
Dipped is a light-medium pink with strong, warm undertones and warmer, peachy-gold shimmer that gave it a smooth, metallic sheen. It had nearly opaque color payoff that was buildable to full coverage with less than a second layer. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable but felt slightly more loosely-pressed so there was a smidgen of fallout during application if I wasn’t careful. It wore well for eight hours before showing signs of wear.
Ganache
Ganache is a brighter, medium-dark pink-coral base with warmer undertones and flecks of gold and lavender micro-sparkle over a matte base. The texture was moderately powdery with some fallout, both from the powderiness but also from the micro-sparkles that did not bind with the underlying base color. It had opaque coverage, though, that blended out relatively easily on my skin. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.
Dutch
Dutch is a darker, pink-coral with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. The texture was soft, lightly powdery but substantial enough to maintain its full coverage when applied to bare skin and blended out along the edges. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.
