ColourPop Limoncello 12-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette

Limoncello

ColourPop Limoncello 12-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is a new, 12-pan palette featuring five shimmery eyeshadows and seven matte eyeshadows. It seemed to have a good range of depth and finishes, which made it more versatile. The pop of blue fits the theme, I suppose, but it was harder to incorporate with the color story given how warm-toned the other shades were–but it was a very unique shade (which is hard to do). The quality of the palette was a pleasant surprise; the shimmers felt more emollient and smoother with less fallout than recent releases, while the mattes were soft and blendable without being overly powdery.

Tuscan Fun

Tuscan Fun is a light-medium brown with warmer, more orange undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied well to bare skin as it went on evenly and diffused well along the edges. The texture was a touch powdery in the pan, but it wasn’t prone to fallout or sheering out. This shade lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Fly Girl

Fly Girl is a light orange with warmer, lighter golden orange shimmer that gave it a soft, metallic finish. The texture felt soft, smooth, and was blendable on bare skin as it wasn’t too firmly nor too loosely-pressed into the pan. It had opaque pigmentation that wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Easy Peasy

Easy Peasy is a medium-dark, rusty copper base with green-to-gold shifting pearl that gave it a soft, metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was soft but not too loosely-pressed. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

Limone Squeezy

Limone Squeezy is a brighter, yellowy-orange with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, slightly thin, but it remained blendable and yielded opaque coverage in a single layer. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

Touring

Touring is a light gold with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It was more loosely-pressed in the pan, so there was a smidgen of powderiness, but it seemed confine to the pan as the eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and had opaque coverage. It lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Amalfi

Amalfi is a rich, sunshine yellow with strong, warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well. The texture was soft, smooth, and lightly powdery but not prone to fallout or sheering out. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Serenade

Serenade is a light-medium yellow with subtle, warm undertones and a bright, metallic shine. This shade wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Capri

Capri is a light, chartreuse green with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. The eyeshadow was smooth to the touch, lightly creamy without being too thick but was moderately dense in the pan. It had rich color payoff that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

The Grotto

The Grotto is a medium-dark brown with moderate, warm red undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, which was easily built up to full coverage. The texture was soft, smooth, and slightly firmer in the pan, so there wasn’t any fallout but worked better with a moderate hand. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Semifreddo

Semifreddo is a light, rosier brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture felt soft and smooth to the touch without being too powdery (nor too firmly-pressed into the pan). It had opaque color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Vespa

Vespa is a deep brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented with a soft, blendable consistency that wasn’t too thin nor too loosely-pressed, so fallout wasn’t a concern. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

La Festa is a faded, medium blue with strong, cool undertones and a matte finish. The texture was somewhat powdery, though it retained most of its opacity when applied to bare skin and blended out, though there was light fallout. This was a surprisingly unique color!
