Color Quer Furever Super Shock Shadow Quad Set ($ 18.00 for 0.28 oz) is the latest charitable collaboration between ColourPop and NKLA, benefiting the Best Friends Animal Society. Any net proceeds from the purchase of a NKLA x ColourPop product (this set or individually purchased shades) go to Best Friends Animal Society. I think those who tend to use a Super Shock Shadow as a cover or as a shiny shading will find the shades brighter achievable, but apart from Aristocat, these could still be improved.

Cattitude

Cattitude is a light-medium gold with warm shades and a sparkling metallic finish. It exhibited a semi-opaque pigmentation associated with a smooth and creamy “wet” feel, although it is applied in a thin layer and dries quickly (while still melting in the dry state). This could have been applied a little more evenly, however, and I had to be careful to let it dry before adding another layer. This shade stayed good for 10 hours without discolouring or wrinkling.

Chanel Covet (90) (LE, $ 32.00) is lighter (similar to 95%). The Pop Ray color (LE, $ 5.00) is more shimmery, lighter (at 95% similar) .Juvia’s Zuri Place (P,) is darker (at 95%) .Too Faced Fairy Tale ( LE, $ 16.00) is lighter, cooler (similar to 95%) .Sephora Daisy (PiP,) is less shimmery, cooler (95%) .Color color Let me explain (P, 5, 00 $) is lighter (90% similar). The color Pop Up Front (PiP, $ 5.00) is more shimmering, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Laura Sugar Frost (PiP, $ 28.00) is more shimmering, cooler (90% similar) .Bad Habit Daphne (PiP,) is more shimmery, warmer (90% similar) .LORAC Gilded (LE, 19.00) $) is fresher (90% similar) .

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow is a cream formula with a multitude of shades and finishes. The most metallic shades have the most skid (they have a “wetter” feel), while the duller ones have a firmer, more clayey consistency. Almost every shade of ColourPop I tried was exceptionally long (more than 10 hours of wear, usually until I removed them, even 14 hours later). The pigmentation may vary from one hue to the other, but the average hue is quite pigmented.

According to the readers’ comments, many like them but some do not like them at all. They are not a traditional cream eyeshadow because they are denser (more spongy) and apply better with flat and firm synthetic brushes (I like MAC 242 and 249). The brand recommends using the fingers for the most pigmented applications, but I only felt that the fingers were needed on some shades (usually the brightest).

The dullest shades may be drier and have medium to opaque coverage, although they are often buildable. They can be a bit difficult to broadcast, even if some are nice to work.

The most glittering hues were the weakest for me, as they may be simpler or harder to apply. Sometimes they are more pigmented and work like the other finishes of the formula, but often they are thinner and work only on more pigmented eyeshadow to add shine. However, they tend to have little fallout over time, with occasional shadow having a more moderate amount of fallout (but still less spillover than most powdered eyeshadows with glitter).

Bow Wow

Bow Wow is a shiny, peachy gold with warm undertones and a sparkling finish. He had a semi-opaque pigmentation, which had not accumulated well. It was better to thin an area or superimpose it to another eye shadow for a brighter glow. The texture seemed a little drier and had some fallout when I merged the edges. Once I left alone, it lasted 10 hours without fading or folding, but there were additional spin-offs over time.

Pop Oracle color (LE, $ 5.00) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar) Milani Champagne Wasted (PiP, $ 5.99) is less bright, darker, colder (similar to 90%) Dior Expose # 1 (PiP,) is less shiny, darker, colder (90% similar) .

Puppuccino

Puppuccino is a moderately dark copper with warm, brownish undertones and pink sparks that gave it a more metallic sheen. The texture felt softer to the touch, so there was more slippage, which made it a little less foolproof to apply. It had an opaque pigmentation that adhered well to the bare skin, but the edges were a bit difficult to diffuse transparently. It is well worn for 10 hours without fading, wrinkling or visible fallout.

Color Pop ZZZ (LE, $ 5.00) (100% similar). The Urban Decay Ignite (PiP, $ 19.00) is less shimmering (95% similar). Color Pop Lightning Bug (PiP, $ 5.00) is darker, warmer (90% similar). Aristocat

Aristocat is a moderately dark plum with warm, reddish-brown undertones and a satin finish. There was hardly a shimmer scattered everywhere, enough so that it was not dull, but not enough to make it openly shimmering – could easily be used to add depth to a look. The texture was smooth, slightly creamy and lean on the skin. It produced an opaque pigmentation in a single layer that remained fine for 10 hours without discolouring or wrinkling.
