ColourPop Cherry Up & Roll Out Glossy Lip Stains

Cherry Up

ColourPop Cherry Up Glossy Lip Stain is a more muted, medium red with subtle, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. The gloss appeared warmer and almost brownish when swatched, but it developed a pinky-red stain underneath, which influenced the overall color to be only a little warm-toned (this happened within a couple of minutes). It had a lightweight, more watery consistency initially, which became slightly thicker and a touch tacky after a minute of wear. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, as marketed, that applied evenly and stayed on well for five and a half hours. There was a light stain that lingered for another hour or so.

Roll Out

ColourPop Roll Out Glossy Lip Stain is a bright coral with warm, orange undertones and a glossy finish. It ended up looking redder on my lips as the underlying stain was more of a warm red than coral/orange. It had medium pigmentation in a single layer, which was buildable to opaque coverage with a second layer. The texture was lightweight, thin, and more watery initially but developed into a more gel-like, thicker feel that was lightly tacky. It wore well for five and a half hours with a moderate, warm red stain left behind and felt non-drying overall.
