ColourPop Brandy Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer is a darker pink with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly but had light streaking along the edges of my lips. I found it was better to apply less product and end up with more semi-opaque coverage as the applicator picked up more product than necessary for an even layer on top and bottom lips (for me). Despite having a bit of streaking along the edges, there wasn’t much that settled noticeably in my lip lines. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and creamy without being tacky. It wore well for four hours and felt hydrating over time, and it seemed to look smoother and better after a half hour or so of wear.
ColourPop Cabaret Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer is a brighter, reddish-plum with strong, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage that adhered evenly across my lips and didn’t emphasize my lip lines, lip texture, or show much in the way of streaking. The consistency was lightweight, creamy, and smooth without any tackiness, which made it comfortable to wear. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and felt very moisturizing.
