Colour Pop Blue Moon 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a recent addition to the brand’s line of monochromatic eyeshadow palettes with this one featuring an assortment of blues ranging from pale, iridescent blue to darker blue. I think the palette could have used a really inky, blue-black and perhaps a true navy blue. The tone of Clued In seemed oddly warm-toned relative to most of the shades in the palette, and I felt like it didn’t go well with other mid-tone shades in the palette. Most of the eyeshadows had semi-opaque or better pigmentation, were blendable, and lasted around eight hours, though there were some issues with powderiness and blendability on a few shades.
Colour Pop Lumi Pressed Powder Shadow
Lumi is a bright, iridescent bluish-white with cool undertones and a frosted sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that was buildable to full coverage with less than a second layer on top. The texture was soft, lightly creamy, but it seemed to have a looser press to it so I would recommend using a lighter hand with it to avoid excess product kicked up in the pan. This shade wore well on my lid for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
Colour Pop Da Ba Dee Pressed Powder Shadow
Da Ba Dee
Da Ba Dee is a bright, light-medium blue with strong, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had excellent color coverage that applied well to bare skin with a smooth, even lay down of color. The consistency was soft, a little powdery in the pan, but I didn’t have fallout as long as I made sure to tap the brush off once. It lasted nicely for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.
Colour Pop Moonlite Pressed Powder Shadow
Moonlite is a bright, sky blue with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that was buildable, and the impressive part was that it wasn’t prone to sheering out. I did have some fallout, so I found it easier to apply this shade first if I was using it higher up on my eye area (e.g. above the crease) to avoid it lightening anything below it (that I didn’t want lighter!). The consistency was soft, velvety, and lightly powdery, so take care to use a lighter hand to avoid excess product getting kicked up. The wear clocked in at eight hours before it started to fade more noticeably on me.
Colour Pop Starry Eyed Pressed Powder Shadow
Starry Eyed is a vivid, light-medium blue with cool undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was smooth, velvety, and finely-milled without entering powdery territory. It had nearly opaque color coverage that applied well to bare skin with an even lay down of color. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before I noticed any fading.
Colour Pop Billie Jean Pressed Powder Shadow
Billie Jean is a pale, light-medium blue with cool undertones and a metallic sheen. The texture was more loosely-pressed, slightly thicker, and I felt like it needed to be applied with fingertips or a wet brush to ensure even, smooth application of color. With a dry brush, it was a little fussier and didn’t go on as evenly, especially along my lash line. It had good pigmentation that lasted well for eight hours on me before creasing faintly.
Colour Pop Tide Pool Pressed Powder Shadow
Tide Pool is a bright, light-medium blue with a metallic sheen. It had rich color coverage that applied well to bare skin, though the texture was on the thicker side, so it worked better with flat, synthetic brushes. The consistency was lightly creamy and dense but had good adhesion overall. This shade stayed on nicely for eight hours on me before I noticed faint creasing.
Colour Pop Mad About U Pressed Powder Shadow
Mad About U
Mad About U is a medium-dark blue with cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good pigmentation paired with an emollient, denser consistency. The product was harder to apply evenly to bare skin, as it had more slip than was ideal, and it was a shade that worked best with fingertips or a wet brush. It wore well for eight hours on me before creasing noticeably.
Colour Pop Fine China Pressed Powder Shadow
Fine China is a medium blue with moderate, cool undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was fantastic, while the eyeshadow had a smooth, velvety texture that was easy to pick up and to apply to bare skin. It adhered evenly and blended out without issue. This shade lasted well for just over eight hours on me before I noticed fading.
Colour Pop Clued In Pressed Powder Shadow
Clued In is a medium-dark blue with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. The texture felt drier and firmer in the pan, and while it had good pigmentation, it was difficult to apply evenly and blend out. The powder had a tendency to adhere strongly to wherever it was placed initially, and then I really had to buff and vigorously blend to get the edges to soften at all. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.
