Charlotte Tilbury Lunar New Year Matte Revolution Lipsticks
Only Muse
Only Muse Matte Revolution Lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury is a muted medium-dark orange with moderately warm undertones and a satin finish. It appeared to have a little more shine than some of the other shades released in this formula, though most of it faded away in about an hour. Instead of the advertised buildable coverage, it had an opaque color payoff and a lightly velvety texture that was thin, lightweight, and non-clingy. This shade lasted four hours but settled into my lip lines a little over time, and the formula was neither drying nor hydrating.
K-Romance
K-Romance Matte Revolution Lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury is a deep red with cool, blue undertones and a semi-matte finish. The texture was silky, velvety, and light, with a thinner feel that was never clingy. It had opaque pigmentation that stayed on nicely for five hours, left a faint stain behind, and felt non-drying, despite the fact that it was supposed to be buildable.
Walk of a Star
Charlotte Tilbury Walk of a Star Matte Revolution Lipstick is deep coral-red lipstick with subtle warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage (rather than buildable), applied evenly, but didn’t stick as well to the inside of my lips (by a small margin). The texture was light and airy, with a velvety glide rather than traditional creaminess. It was non-drying and lasted for four and a half hours.
