Virginie Viard’s campaign photographers of choice at Chanel are Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The creative director continues to entrust her vision to the Dutch photography pair for the brand’s many advertisements. For their tenth Chanel collaboration, the creative duo focuses on the French fashion house’s new handbag design for 2022, suitably labeled 22. Lily-Rose Depp was shot in Los Angeles, Whitney Peak was photographed in New York City, and Margaret Qualley was photographed in Palm Springs for the campaign.
