Warm Memories (354)
Chanel Warm Memories (354) Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow is a new, mauve and plum-leaning quad that had a pop of orange. Three of the four shades had some shimmer to them, but the orange was the only true shimmer in the quad. At a glance, there seemed to be a decent range of depth, but I found that the first three shades clustered together and resulted in a muddier look in practice. The formula seemed to run slightly thinner and was more prone to sheering out, so I’d recommend wearing a primer with this to ensure longevity.
Chanel Warm Memories #1 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Warm Memories #1
Warm Memories #1 is a medium, rosy mauve with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that was buildable to mostly opaque coverage, but it had a faded quality to it when applied so it never looked true-to-pan in color. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and blendable but was prone to sheering out a bit. It wore well for seven hours before I noticed fading.
Chanel Warm Memories #2 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Warm Memories #2
Warm Memories #2 is a soft, rosy mauve with strong, warm undertones and a satin finish. The consistency was incredibly silky to the touch and seemed very finely-milled, but it was prone to sheering out and was thinner than I expected, which tends to result in poor performance–which was true of this shade. It had good coverage but sheered out to more semi-sheer coverage once blended (without that being the goal!). It lasted well for seven hours before fading noticeably.
Chanel Warm Memories #3 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Warm Memories #3
Warm Memories #3 is a muted, medium plum with strong, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque pigmentation but it applied somewhat lighter than it appeared in the pan, and the quad could have benefited from greater contrast to differentiate this shade from the first two. The texture was soft, slightly thin and dusty in the pan, but it blended out with ease. It stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.
Warm Memories #4
Warm Memories #4 is a light-medium orange with subtle, warm undertones and fine pink and gold shimmer throughout. The texture was smooth to the touch, not at all powdery nor too firmly pressed into the pan, but it seemed denser than most of the shades I’ve tried in this formula. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.
