Pourpre Etoile (168)
Chanel Pourpre Etoile (168) Rouge Allure Velvet La Comete is a deep reddish-berry with cool undertones and a satin sheen with pink micro-sparkle. The texture was lightweight, velvety rather than creamy, and thin, but it didn’t cling and was forgiving of lip texture and lines. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation that lasted for 5.5 hours and felt hydrating over time.
Brun Celeste (178)
Celeste Chanel Brun (178) Velvet Rouge Allure La Comete is a rich purplish-brown with cool undertones and a satin sheen. It had medium color coverage that was difficult to build up because it caught on imperfections, settled into lip lines, and clumped along the inner area of my lip. The consistency itself was not particularly off-putting, as it was lightly emollient, thin, and comfortable to apply and wear, but it did not sit well on my lips. This color lasted four hours on me but settled into my lip lines worse over time.
