The Chanel Caractere (958) Eyeshadow and Blush Palette is a new, limited edition multi-use palette featuring larger-sized pans that may be used as a cheek color as well as an eyeshadow hue. The texture was harder than Chanel’s eyeshadows but denser than the blush range.

Caractere #1

Caractere #1 is a peachy coral with strong undertones and a silky shine.

Semi-opaque to opaque, buildable pigmentation
Smooth, finely-milled, firm but not stiff
Applied evenly, blended out well, sat nicely on skin
Long-wearing (8 hours before fading)

Caractere #2

Caractere #2 is a golden copper with light-medium undertones and a gently glittering, pearly finish. It was a little loose at first, but it buffed into the skin quite nicely.

Lightly powdery, finely-milled, smooth to the touch
Applied evenly, blended out well, sat nicely on skin

Caractere #3

Caractere #3 is a rusty red with mild undertones and a satin sheen.

Caractere #4

Caractere #4 is a deep red with somewhat warm undertones and a satin sheen that is neither too sparkly nor matte when applied to the skin.
