Blurry Mauve (328)
Chanel Blurry Mauve (328) Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow is a new, permanent (at least, as far as I can tell per Chanel’s website) neutral set of shades with a rosier/plum leaning. All four shades had good pigmentation with a soft, blendable textures, though the red-plum shade was a bit thinner and wasn’t quite as easy to work with as the other three shades.
Chanel Blurry Mauve #1 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Blurry Mauve #1
Blurry Mauve #1 is a medium, taupe-brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It had buildable pigmentation from semi-opaque coverage to full coverage. The texture was smooth, finely-milled, and silky with slight powderiness in the pan but none present in application. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably on me.
Chanel Blurry Mauve #2 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Blurry Mauve #2
Blurry Mauve #2 is a medium-dark bronze with subtle, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, which adhered evenly and smoothly to bare skin. The eyeshadow had a soft, blendable consistency that was easy to work with. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before showing signs of fading on me.
Chanel Blurry Mauve #3 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Blurry Mauve #3
Blurry Mauve #3 is a medium, plummy brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation that was buildable, but I noticed it darkened a bit unevenly if I wasn’t careful–for those who tend to use their eyeshadows over primer, I suspect that will help solve that issue. The texture was smooth and velvety to the touch without being powdery, and it blended out easily on my skin. It lasted for eight hours on my skin before fading visibly.
Chanel Blurry Mauve #4 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Blurry Mauve #4
Blurry Mauve #4 is a pale taupe with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage that was buildable to full pigmentation with a second layer. The texture was velvety and smooth to the touch without being powdery. The eyeshadow applied evenly and blended out without difficulty. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before it started to fade.
