Chanel Blast & Surprise Rouge Coco Bloom Lip Colours
Blast (146)
Chanel Blast (146) Rouge Coco Bloom Lip Colour is a deep, burgundy-red with subtle, darker red pearl strewn throughout a more luminous finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without settling noticeably into my deeper lip lines. The texture was lightweight, moderately emollient but not too slippery (it didn’t feather/bleed on me), and was comfortable to wear. The color stayed on nicely for five hours and felt hydrating over time.
Surprise (148)
Chanel Surprise (148) Rouge Coco Bloom Lip Colour is a deep, pink-red with cool undertones and a luminous finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which didn’t build up to full coverage, though the color applied evenly and smoothly across my lips. I was impressed by the evenness as a lot of more balm-like formulas in this type of color tend to settle into my lip lines visibly. The consistency felt emollient with moderate slip, but it didn’t slide around too readily during wear. It wore well for five hours, left a faint stain behind, and felt moisturizing while worn.
