Au Fil des Fleurs (356)
Chanel Au Fil des Fleurs (356) Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow is a new, limited edition quad for spring featuring two shades of pink, an iridescent lavender, and a muted purple; all featured some level of shimmer to them. The lightest shade (#2) was sheerer and would be more of a brightening or layering shade (based on opacity and type of color), while the other shades were pigmented; all four applied well and lasted for seven to eight hours on me.
Chanel Au Fil des Fleurs #1 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Au Fil des Fleurs #1
Au Fil des Fleurs #1 is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good color coverage but seemed to have a bit of translucency when I looked at it closely. The texture was smooth to the touch, finely-milled without being powdery, and blended out without difficulty. It stayed on well for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.
Au Fil des Fleurs #2
Au Fil des Fleurs #2 is a pale, icy lavender with cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had medium coverage in a single layer, which was buildable coverage to semi-opaque with a second layer or full coverage applied with a dampened brush. For those who like brightening shades, the lack of opacity might not be a deal-breaker, but if you wanted full-on pop, it’ll be lacking. The texture felt soft, smooth, and firm enough not to be powdery but had some give so it picked up well with a brush. It lasted nicely for seven and a half hours before fading a bit.
Chanel Au Fil des Fleurs #3 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Au Fil des Fleurs #3
Au Fil des Fleurs #3 is a muted, medium-dark pink with neutral-to-cool undertones paired with fine, warmer gold pearl that gave it a warmer tone overall. The consistency felt soft to the touch, dense and firm without being thick or stiff, so it picked up well with a brush and blended out well on my lid without sheering out too readily. It yielded nearly opaque coverage in a single layer but could be built up to full coverage with a second layer or made opaque applied over primer or with a dampened brush. It wore well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
Chanel Au Fil des Fleurs #4 Multi-Effect Eyeshadow
Au Fil des Fleurs #4
Au Fil des Fleurs #4 is a medium-dark purple with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily along the edges. The texture was soft, smooth, and easy to work with but not powdery or prone to fallout. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
